Description

Kelvin Chiddick, President of Sandys Holdings Ltd

"In order for an individual to take his/her invention to market, he needs to be both an inventor and somewhat of an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, these are two different types and not all inventors have the attributes of entrepreneurs and vice-versa.

Working with inventors lately, I have noticed that once they have invented a product, they seem to believe everybody will fall over themselves rushing to buy their invention. From my experience, I believe only 5% of all inventions actually get to market, unfortunately." Kelvin Chiddick

During the course of the evening, Mr. Chiddick will share with us a couple of his own stories as an inventor and an entrepreneur, and he will do so by talking about three of his inventions that are still being sold worldwide today: his Nail Varnish Remover, Non Static Tack Cloths, and Solid Disc Lubricant, Solid Friction Modifiers and Solid Lubricants.
