BC Inventor's Society Meeting - 2 days to the special event
Mark your calendar for this special event on January 27
We cordially invite you, your inventing family and friends to our first
meeting of the year on January 27. BCIS is bringing together past and future
speakers, business specialists, and members for an evening of networking and
around-the-table discussions.
We are working to make this event fun, but also useful and memorable for all
Members,Visitors and Guests.
Come and socialize with other interesting people, meet new kindred spirits,
and contribute your ideas and experiences to making this meeting unique.
The event is FREE for all attendees. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will
be available. Please note that this special event will be held from 7:00 to
10:00PM. Doors open at 6:45PM.
Here is what we have in store for you:
1) Welcome notes from our President to members, visitors, and guests.
2) A brief introduction to our newly developed and upgraded website.
3) Presentation of certificates to those who have made
significant contributions to BCIS.
4) Break: Snacks and a chance to chat and network
(Bring your own business cards to hand out)
5) Around-the-table discussions of members’ needs and wants for
the society.
6) Break: Another chance to chat and network.
7) Panel of past speakers to comment on points raised in round-table
discussions.
8) Another opportunity to network
(There will be a New Member sign up table all evening)
9) Say goodbye and head home.
The primary purpose of the BC Inventors Society is to serve the invention
needs and wishes of our Members. A main reason of the around-the-table
discussions (#5 above) is to find out Members concerns about inventing and
what they need and want from the society. To serve you better, we need to
know your concerns, needs, and wants – so please come with your comments
and wish-lists. We can’t promise to meet them all, but we do promise to
work hard to meet them and to encourage our speakers to address them.
Remember to tell your inventing friends. Bring them and your ideas, and help
make the BCIS an even more dynamic organization.

Attendance fee is $10. (waived for this January meeting)
Annual membership is $45. Members will have access to premiere content on the
website in the near future.
