HIGH-TECH BUSINESS INCUBATOR IN PENTICTON

There is still space for start-ups left at the Penticton Okanagan Research & Innovation Centre (ORIC)High-Tech Business Incubator.

In November 2009, ORIC High-Tech Incubator received $170,000 of financial support from the Federal Government under the Community Adjustment Fund program to create a technology business incubator in Penticton.

The focus of the new incubator in Penticton is on Clean Tech and Wireless start-ups, emphasizing ORIC’s relationship with National Research Council’s Radio Observatory and Okanagan College’s new Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Building Technologies and Renewable Energy Conservation.
